When I was twelve years old my mom grounded me from reading because I was being "anti-social." Her words, not mine.
How many people can say that?
I have been to Disney World a total of 12 times in my life, and I can quote every single animated Disney movie known to man. This is not a drill.
I believe that writing is the closest thing there is to real magic, and that’s why I do it. I also believe that reading is the best way to travel when you’re on a shoestring budget.
I wouldn’t say that I’m an introvert, but I definitely appreciate having some “me” time. Meaning that I enjoy a good Netflix binge session as much as the next person.
I love what I do, and I do what I love. I’m a writer who is passionate about her work and wants to share her talent with as many people as possible.
When I told people I wanted to be a writer, I got laughed at. Everyone asked if I wanted to be an "author" and were shocked when I said "maybe someday." And maybe, if I'm lucky, I will be.
When I'm not writing, I'm reading, and when I'm not reading I'm working out. I'm passionate about fitness (among fifty other things that also make me extremely happy). I cook gluten-free and dairy-free and I have a weakness for Rice Krispie Treats.
I'm perfectly ordinary but strive to be extraordinary.
